February Newsletter

Happy Galentine's Sisters!

We have had a wonderful time celebrating all of our Panhellenic Women during our Pan Pride week this week. Thank you to everyone that came out to Pan Pride yesterday, it was so cool to get to see all of our Panhellenic Sisters get to interact and love on eachother! We hope to see you all again at the Mellow Mushroom Giveback THIS Thursday all-day! We've already raised $450 for Circle of Sisterhood through the Flower Sales, T-Shirt Orders, and Pan Pride Donations, and we can't wait to raise even more money.  If you have yet to purchase a T-Shirt the link closes at 10AM THIS Thursday and you can purchase one here: https://untpanhellenic.bigcartel.com/ if you have any questions regarding T-Shirt orders, social media, or this website please contact our Panhellenic VP of Community Relations, Gia White, unt.panrelations@gmail.com

All of the money we have raised during Pan Pride is getting donated to our Panhellenic Philanthropy, Circle of Sisterhood. It is a special organization that allows girls in third world countries to go to school by providing them with tuition, school meals, supplies, and a uniform for an entire year.  This schooling is so important to these girls and gives them so many opportunities. If you are interested in finding out more you can watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1e8xgF0JtVg

For more information, you can visit the Circle of Sisterhood website or reach out to our Panhellenic VP of Service, Brittany Sheridan, unt.panservice@gmail.com

Month of the Scholar

Happy Month of the Scholar!

We are so proud of all of the hard-work done by our studious sisters not just this month, but throughout the year!  Keep up with our Instagram @untpan to see shoutouts for the girls who made the Dean's and President's lists last semester.

UNT has so many great academic resources for all students, and we encourage you to use them; if you have any questions regarding these resources, reach out to your Academic Chairs or our Panhellenic VP of Scholarship, Ally DeLuna, unt.panscholarship@gmail.com

Sister Sorority Spotlight

Delta Gamma

Allison Quisenberry

Allison is very involved on the Campus of UNT and within DG, and she also has been thriving at her off campus internship at United Way Denton County. In her words, the internship has "allowed [her] the opportunity to explore the topic of mental health relative to our community. [She has] helped conduct Mental Health First Aid training and created marketing materials to connect community members and local mental health resources."

Zeta Tau Alpha

Marisa Villarreal

Marisa is a Junior in Zeta Tau Alpha and served as their VPII New Member Coordinator in 2019. She majors in Art Education and does some internal marketing for ZTA to advertise their philanthropy and social events. In her Senior year of High School Marisa was commissioned to paint a mural for Bed, Bath, and Beyond. She was chosen out of all of the seniors who had applied for the opportunity in the LISD area. Her new project is in collaboration with her sister and Flour Shoppe Bakery to create another mural.

We are so proud of these outstanding Panhellenic Women!

Till Next Month,

XOXO Pan Girl
